(Well, that’s if you’ll exclude the many savoury muffins I went through at dinnertime when I was little!)
Coodles, coodles, coodles.
“Wait – coodles? What the heck are ‘coodles’?”
So if zucchini + noodles = zoodles, then cucumber + noodles must equal coodles.
Oops, I just gave it away.
It’s been so sunny these past couple of days.
Plus it’s almost the end of the school holidays 😢, so those are two good enough excuses to make popsicles.
Infused waters are the bomb.
Like, I never have infused waters, but they’re still the bomb.
I remember the first time I tried to infuse water with herbs was during winter last year. You know; winter blues:
Now that I think of it, I haven’t spotted a rainbow in AAAAAAAAAGGGES. (Apart from that really faded one that lasted like 40 seconds the other day.)
But I have eaten a rainbow, so I guess that counts too.
And so have the members of my cooking tech class at school! 😆
Yeah, well that only lasted like five posts.
And now I’m back again with another power bowl – another Moroccan power bowl (what is it with Morocco and power bowls? Like, they just go together better than peanut butter and jam… wait, take that back TAKE THAT BACK! That’s going just a biiitt too far. But trust me, Moroccan power bowls are honestly amazing 😍).
My dad believes that “lamington”is pronounced “lem-ing-tin”. He will never allow himself to believe that it is, in fact, pronounced “lam-ing-tin”.
When I was little, my Nana threw a big birthday buffet lunch with the whole family. I remember my auntie burnt her finger with the lighter when she tried to light the candles on the cake and that put me off lighting candles until, well, even now.
My FIRST EVER blog post that’s actually got to do with food MUST contain an amazing recipe, right?
(Yes, like in a parent-child kind of way… and no, I’m not weird (well, I can’t guarantee that) – just try the recipe out for yourself and you’ll know what I mean!)
